Do you know how to maintenance different crusher blades?

Date Issued:2024-10-21

Five common blade types for plastic crushers:

1. Flower blade: It can crush 80% of daily miscellaneous plastics in our daily life (PET, PP, PC, PE, etc., with high crushing efficiency and strong crushing ability.)

2. Blade holder herringbone blade: It is suitable for crushing high-pressure film materials, film materials, ground film materials, etc.)

3. Vertical plate herringbone blade: It is a special knife type for Packing tapes, which can effectively solve the problem of shaft winding during the crushing process of strapping.

4. Hammer type: Professionally crushing large and small ring materials, plastic steel materials, etc.

5. Claw blade type: Specially used for crusher head materials, welded structure or cast steel structure, both structures can effectively crush machine head materials.

The have some Maintenance ways of crusher blades that could help to improve the crusher & blade’s working life:

1. Before starting the machine, check whether there are materials and other items in the crushing chamber. It is strictly forbidden to add materials to the crusher before starting the machine to avoid overloading the motor during startup, burning the motor, damaging the knife and other parts.

2. Before starting the machine, check whether each part of the equipment is normal, how is the lubrication, whether the machine sound is normal, and if any abnormality is found, stop the machine immediately for inspection.

3. After the upper casing is closed, the stop screw should be tightened. When the machine is running, the stop screw should not be loosened. The machine cover should not be opened arbitrarily during the startup process.

4. During the crushing process, pay attention to adding the right amount of material, and do not fill the crushing chamber at one time to avoid the rotating tool being stuck and overload.

5. When adjusting the blade, the fixed blade can be used as a reference to adjust the movable blade to maintain a certain amount of relative clearance, generally 0.1-0.3mm.

6. After crushing a certain amount of waste, the blade (including fixed blade and movable blade) should be touched once.

7. After stopping, there should be no material in the feed hopper, and the material around the blade should be cleaned.

8. The outer casing of the machine should be cleaned frequently, and it must be inspected and repaired on time every 3 months, the parts should be disassembled and cleaned, the wear degree of the seal ring and the bearing should be checked, and the parts should be replaced in time. The whole machine is generally inspected once a year.
